SPACE10 worked with bioengineer Keenan Pinto and architects Aleksander Wadas, Anna Stempniewicz and Rafal Wroblewski to build a pavilion that produced a huge amount of microalgae per day, exploring new solutions to how we transform our food systems so that we produce closer to home and reduce deforestation, waste, and our impact on the planet.

Thousands of people engaged with The Algae Dome at CHART Art Fair in Copenhagen in 2017. Visitors experienced the production of the supercrop from inside the dome while snacking on spirulina chips developed by chef and food designer Simon Perez.
